Some have contacted me about using the Yamaha CM-500 headset with their radio.  I went and got one to do the design with and after a couple weeks it's done for Icom.  This adapter plugs directly into your Icom radio's 8 pin round Microphone jack and accesses DC bias (for the CM500 mic element), Mic input and PTT connection (switch sold separately or use yours).
While my headsets work real well, some want to spend a little more for the pro look.  With my adapter listed here, you can do that - the headsets typically go from plus shipping.
