Some have contacted me about using these newer computer gamer headsets with their radio.  I went and got a few to do the design with and after a couple weeks it's good for Icom.  This adapter plugs directly into your Icom radio's 8 pin round Microphone jack and gets DC bias (for the headset mic element), Mic input and PTT connection (PTT hand or foot switch sold separately or use yours).
