Description
Great vintage item for someone with a mechanical bent and/or interest in historic printing/copying/mimeograph machines. Used by a junior high school teacher in the 1960s-1970s, this vintage Standard Rocket Fluid Duplicator may look quaint by today's standards, but it was considered state-of-the art by the math educator who used it to mimeograph tests and worksheets for his classes.Marketed as "The Crowning Achievement in Fluid Duplicating", the Standard Rocket was purchased at the Duplicator Supply Co. on Champa St. in Denver in the 1960s.
Last used in 1988 before it was put into storage, it still worked fine then and should still work. Current owner (daughter of original owner) has no duplicator fluid to check it out but recalls it having been used successfully to print advertising brochures in the late 1980s. There are online videos that show how to operate it.
It comes with a box of Frankel Klean Write ditto masters (16 still available for use).
Measures 20" long (with clamp-on paper tray) X 12" tall X 15" wide (18" wide, including the hand crank handle.)
FOR LOCAL PICKUP IN COLORADO FRONT RANGE AREA ONLY!!! Machine is extremely heavy and would be very difficult and expensive to ship.
Questions welcomed.
