Vintage Sencore CB49 Portable CB Analyzer w/ Attachments Parts/Repair

Up for your consideration is a super hard to find Sencore model CB49 portable CB analyzer & performance checker. Unique piece of equipment that combines a handful of performance analysis/testing into one compact device. It comes with the front plate cover and set up booklet, a handful of leads, and a promotional pamphlet still tied to the handle. It is missing the manual. Radio is being sold as for repair only! The battery compartment had some of the worst decayed batteries I have ever seen and the positive contact points had heavy corrosion. I managed to clean out most of the exploded battery fragments and sanded down the contacts (after taking the photograph seen here), and still had no luck getting it to turn on. I believe there is corrosion extended to the inside of the positive contacts which is causing the issue. It would require disassembly to diagnose the exact problem and I think it'd be best to leave that to someone who knows what they're doing. Cosmetic condition is very good, with no missing dials and a very clean looking interface. The exterior has some scuffs, scratches, and wear, and a more noticeable scratch across the base. Aerial is still attached and undamaged. A little surface rust to the handle mounts.
