Vintage All-white Ceramic Conch Shell Lidded Soup Tureen with Ladle
Loaded with coastal charm, this ceramic shell-shaped serving tureen with lid and matching ladle will become a well-used focal point of your get-togethers. Lovely, textured detail covers the outside of the soup base and lid, and a small Horse Conch shell-shaped knob graces the top of the lid. A stylized shell-motif caps the top of the ladle handle. All three pieces are finished with a glossy, solid off-white glaze. No maker’s mark, but a pair of initials are scratched into the tureen bottom.

Tureen: 15” long x 8.5” wide x 8” tall with lid. Just over 2 quart capacity.
Serving ladle: 9.25” long x 3” wide bowl.
Condition:
Excellent, pre-owned condition. A few tiny defects were present in the mold pre-glazing, and one small flea bite is found on the end/tip of the shell base—see photo.
