This listing is for the Trains Athearn in Miniature. Box measures approx 19.5"x12.5". prr Plastic bodies, heavy metal parts.
Great input from an experienced eBayer:
That's a pretty rare (and old) set from the late 1950s. The A unit has an all-metal Globe drivetrain and original configuration shell (single headlight, separate black nose numberboards. Very rare brass wheels on the dummy B unit and the original version passenger cars (dummy couplers, radio antenna on dome). You can even see the original .95 price printed on the box end.
Athearn acquired Globe in the late 1950s, so its first offerings were essentially Globe models.

CONDITION
:  Set seems clean, untested; box has wear and some scuffs and splits at edges. There are 2 detached connector pieces but not sure if they belong to this set. See description and supersized photos.
