Description

Various Souvenir Programs from productions of the LA & SF Civic Light Opera Association. Some of these shows went on to Broadway runs while others never made it past these regional productions. Titles include: ANNIE GET YOUR GUN with Mary Martin & John Raitt, SOUTH PACIFC with Mary Martin & Gorgio Tozzi, PETER PAN with Mary Martin (Pre-Broadway tryout), THE KING AND I with Gisele MacKenzie, MAGDALENA with John Raitt & Irra Petina (Pre-Broadway Tryout), ZENDA with Alfred Drake & Chita Rivera (Pre-Broadway Tryout) and AT THE GRAND with Paul Muni (Pre-Broadway Tryout). Many of these are very rare items, as the shows never made it to NYC or they ended up in different productions altogether (At the Grand eventually became Grand Hotel - a broadway hit).
All are in good condition for their age and have been stored in sealed containers.
