  • Condition: Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Measures 5 7/8"W x 10 1/2"H. Base diameter is 4". Rare flat ruby red glass pedestal foot with approximately 4" tall pedestal with squared moon and star accent . Pedestal color appears more orange hued in the light than the pedestal foot. Top knob area is ruby red glass moon star handle and ruffle. Scallop edge lid with moon and start pattern has orange hue when held up to light. Compote has scallop edge top in ruby red that receives scallop edge lid perfectly. Color of compote bowl has ombre shade change as you look lower into bowl area. It is ruby red at top scallop rim, but changes to more orange color as you look lower into bottom bowl of compote. Where pedestal attaches to underside of bowl, the piece is ruby red. And again, changes to orange in center of pedestal column. Then moves back to ruby red at pedestal foot. Color change is subtle, difficult to photograph, but it is there. The amberina effect does not include yellow in this piece.
