Offering this very RARE Pedestal Compote by “Harvey Adams” & Co Staffordshire England C 1870-1880. Unsigned Harvey Adams was only in business between 1869-1887, with the pattern numbers getting to 6500. This piece has the embossed gold work and turquoise jewels in relief, and the turquoise band surrounding the dish. This is in very good condition with mild goldware. The landscape was probably done by Henry Mitchell, the firm used a few but has a painter being recorded as the predominant landscape artist. I’m not sure of the scene location but this is a truly amazing piece. Measures approximately 4 1/2” tall x 8 12” diameter
