A printer's type case or type drawer as seen in photos. About 32” x about 16 1/2” Depths about 7/8” deep. This case is VERY OLD . Check photos for many imperfections. This was well used in a print shop. This is A. great antique piece!. This case has a lip top which the printer used to pull out of cabinet so no handle was necessary.
But at some point in a print shop they did add a handle so there were 2 small holes on the top. It was gone before I purchased it.
