Original Motorola RLN4008E Radio Programming Interface Box RIB with cables Ham

This is an original Motorola (NOT a "clone") RIB (Radio Interface Box) model # RLN4008E with the Motorola PC cable, which goes between the RIB and a PC Serial Port. Also included is five different Motorola Radio programming cables and adapters, that connect between the RIB and the radio to be programmed.
The RIB has been tested and works well. The cables have been in use, and are just now being retired as newer radios have taken their place, which required changing to different programming cables and software. These all came as part of a large batch of used equipment from a local government 2-Way Radio shop, and all are in good conditon.
The RIB requires a PC and appropriate RSS (Radio Service Software) for programming certain Motorola 2-way radios - mobile, portable and Base Station/Repeaters. No RSS software is included - this listing is for only the RIB, PC-to-RIB serial port interconnect cable and five different radio programming cables and adapters.
Each type radio needs the proper programming cables and/or adapters - these are provided, as shown in the individual pictures:
1) A Motorola HKN9857A - programming adapter, which has the cable going to the RIB, and holds the radio's battery on one side of the adaptor, and the radio chassis on the other side. I used it with LTS portable radios, I think it works with Radius and other series radios but check your programming info, to be sure.
2) A black box with RIB connecting cable and RJ connector to radio - it's been a long time since I used it, I think it went to LCS-series Mobile radios. I don't see a Motorola part number on it.
3) Motorola RKN4035D cable, which goes from the RIB output to Portable radios like HT-Series, MT-Series, MTS-Series, and others. Check your radio's compatability.
4)  Motorola RKN4063A cable, which goes from the RIB output to the connector on the underside of MCS-Series mobile radios (MCS-2000, etc.)
5) Motorola 3080369B73 cable kit - still new in the plastic bag. It goes from the RIB to the rear programming connector of Motorola SPECTRA-series mobile radios. It also has a fused ignition lead and speaker connector.
Typical radios that require this RIB are LTS, LCS, HT/MT/MTS-series, MCS, Spectra, MSF (Repeater and Base Stations) and many others. It requires an internal 9V battery or external "cubetap" 12V supply (not provided.) You can see the LED is illuminated as a 9V battery was placed in the opening on the underside of the RIB.
I do have some additional radio programming cables that I'll be listing in later auctions. But they're duplicates of some of the ones that I'm selling in this auction, with the RIB.

Shipping will be via FedEx or USPS (whichever is less expensive), and the shipping charges will be .85 to CONUS ONLY locations, based on other packages of similar size and weight that I've recently shipped.
Any International sales must use eBay's Global Shipping Program service, where I ship the units to their forwarding center in Kentucky, and eBay takes care of the necessary customs, etc. paperwork, and then they ship onward to the winning bidder. No Direct Overseas Sales!
Because of the shipping arrangements that are done out-of-state, I am not able to combine shipment of multiple items. I ship via FedEx within five days of auction end and receipt of payment. By the time the item is put up for auction, it has already been packed for shipping.
Please understand that once I've dropped off an item to be shipped at FedEx, I have no further control of when it will actually arrive at your location. Occasionally, the shipping company routes the package through some far, out-of-the-way locations which can greatly delay the shipping time, compared to what eBay quotes for delivery times.
