NEW Cooling Fan for Collins 30L-1 Amplifier

Description

If you have a 30L-1 with a noisy or inoperative fan or just want to provide more cooling air, install this 3.25" (80mm) muffin fan in the same space with a pcb adapter bracket as show in the pics.
The pcb uses the 3 mounting screws from the original fan and does not require drilling any holes in the 30L-1.
The 12vdc Muffin fan is then mounted with it's 4 screws to the pcb. The fan is powered from the 6vac filament supply using a voltage doubler circuit built into the pcb.
The 110vac wires that powered the original fan are relocated to the 6.3vac filament supply and reused.
Air flow vs fan noise can be controlled by a series dropping resistor or bypassed at your choice.
