Litho Stone, Maxfield Parrish Pied Piper Illustration Palace Hotel San Francisco.
Vintage lithography stone depicting The Pied Piper of Hamelin by famed artist and children's book illustrator Maxfield Parrish.
The original painting was commissioned by the Palace Hotel in San Francisco in 1909 and still hangs in it's namesake Pied Piper Bar.
Reverse contains a recipe for asparagus soup in 2 different type sizes.
The stone measure 9.25 x 6.5 x 2 inches. Normal wear and chipping to edges. Weight approx 8.5 lbs.
Illustration itself is 6 x 2.25 inches and is annotated to be for the yellow run of a multicolored process.
Included is double sided advertising card from Schmidt Lithograph Co. Has small fold top corner.
