is is the fitting which would thread into the cylinder. The nut IS a CGA-580 nut which is used with Argon, Argon/CO2 mixtures, Helium and Nitrogen Cylinders. The Nipple is a CGA-580 Nipple, is 2 1/2" long, and has a 1/4 male NPT thread on the other end.
