Antique Hamilton letterpress Small Type Case Printers Drawer 2/3rd Size

Description

Hamilton Manufacturing made literally millions of these type cases. They were branded as "New Departure" Cases But not that many were in the smaller Two-Thirds size. These drawers are 21-3/4" wide and 16-5/8" deep. The height of all the cases are 1"
These are in the Yankee Job Case style. This layout has the capital letters in the rear, instead of on the right side in the California case. Back in 1905 they were $.85 without the partition casps. The drawers have the desirable original Hamilton Mfg Co cast iron No 1 case pulls. Not a import reproduction.
This particular group are in very nice condition, rather clean. The face have been painted. Underneath is that beautiful old growth white oak Hamilton used. These clean up very easily with either a heat gun or some striper.
These came out of a Wisconsin style cabinet. That is why they have extension rails on the case. If you like we can cut these off for you. Just add a note to your order.
