Description
This was just acquired from a family in Columbus, Oh and has been in their possession since the 1960s or 70s, when the father worked at A.B. Dick. It has been in their basement storage for the last 40 years. This appears to have been a display at the company office, based on the cardboard signs that were found inside the box. We can assume it was being discarded and the employee was allowed to take it. Based on the age of the hand painted signs, this was probably on display for many years until the 1960s or 70s when he got it.
The decals on the case are in good shape with some normal wear from age.
There is a folding frame with a piece of old paper, a slate board that has a glued crack, the roller that has some damage on one side, and everything else shown. The wood case will need a good cleaning. This is being sold as a display, and in as-is condition.
The case measures 17" x 13" x 5". Weighs about 14 pounds.
